Blue Ridge Literacy Council is dedicated to transforming lives through improved literacy and English communication skills for adult learners. Our programs are designed to serve adults who are native English speakers and those who are learning English as a new language. Adults come to us to achieve a variety of goals that include improving communication skills for job promotion, obtaining their high school equivalency certification, being able to participate more in their child's education, obtaining U.S. citizenship, improving math skills for work, and improving reading skills for a better quality of life. We offer our services and materials for free.

Please follow the links below to learn more about the programs we offer. Call us at 828-696-3811 if you would like to become a volunteer, student, or supporter.
